Jean Waters

I am a wheelchair user and actively campaign to improve function, independence and wellbeing for disabled people and their carers.

I am a founder member of the Wheelchair Alliance & chaired the working group tasked with developing the wheelchair charter in 2015.

Many years on the front line of the NHS provided me with the experience and understanding to work alongside service providers, commissioners and policy makers who are committed to service improvements. I try to combine that with my lived experience and wide contact with other wheelchair users, to help bring the changes that are needed to improve their quality of life. I firmly believe that co -production brings benefits to everyone.
