Shabaaz Mohammed

Shabaaz is a British-Asian Disabled Person, who has used specialist seating his whole life. He is a member of Manchester DPAC, and represents them on the MCH Mayor Andy Burnham’s Disabled People’s Panel. He has also been an integral part of the Northwest Wheelchair User Group for over a decade.

Aside from activist work he is a filmmaker and a podcaster, and clearly sees his chair as the vital organ it is with regards to one’s work and general day-to-day, without which he and other wheelchair users simply could not function. This has resulted in a real passion for wheelchair services, and a drive to push for their ongoing betterment.
